TWO Aberystwyth pubs have revealed that they will be temporarily shutting their doors for three weeks.
Harley’s on Eastgate Street and Scholars on Queen’s Road announced on Facebook this afternoon that they will be shutting after this weekend for a period of three weeks.
In the post, they say: “Given the current situation all across the UK with Covid cases rising rapidly, coupled with the imminent return of students and local lockdowns now as close to home as Caerphilly, we see fit to allow the madness of the next few weeks to pass before reopening our doors to you guys!”
Scholars will close after their weekly quiz on the night of Sunday, 13 September and Harley’s will close after Saturday night, 12 September.
The pubs add: “Stay safe & see you all very soon.
“No we haven’t been closed down
“No it’s not forever
“No we haven’t got Corona.”
