THE Aber First Awards presentation was held on Friday night at the Old College, where 10 awards were handed out, along with a top award for overall business of the year.

The awards, which are now held annually, after previously being held biennially, are organised by Menter Aberystwyth, and help to raise the profile of businesses in the Aberystwyth area.

Dozens of shortlisted businesspeople attended the event and the MC for the evening was Ioan Guile.

The Cambrian News was one of the sponsors for the evening, along with others from local business.
