The KFC in Aberystwyth has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Terrace Road restaurant was given the score after assessment on 19 September, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
While the business's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was deemed generally satisfactory, its cleanliness and condition of facilities and building needs improvement.
This includes having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control to enable good food hygiene.
Elsewhere in Ceredigion, The Showboat at Clarach Bay Holiday Village was given a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on 18 September.
And in Gwynedd, The Eating Gorilla Vegan Cafe & Restaurant in Penrhyndeudraeth and Ochirly Oriental in Porthmadog have both received three-out-of-five ratings following assessment in the same week.
