A BLAENAU Ffestiniog artist is showcasing his work at a popular arts centre.
Peter McNally, who was born in Bangor but grew up in the Meirionnydd town, is displaying his work at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw in Llanbedrog.
Peter studied fine art at Chester School of Art followed by Camberwell School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools in London, where he is still based although he makes regular visits back to Wales.
Speaking of his profession and inspirations, Peter said: “My work is about the rugged landscape of Blaenau Ffestiniog and my early life growing up within it: the Moelwyn Mountains, the challenging weather and the changing post-industrial landscape and environment.
“My work also includes strong references to places I’ve visited in the world and my continued interest and influences within the 20th and 21st century art movements.”
