A pair of former Ysgol Dyffryn Teifi, Llandysul pupils have taken the top two Miss Bikini titles at the Welsh National Amateur Body-Builders’ Association championships in Newport.

Carys Llewelyn, of Aberporth, took first place while Elin Mai Vaughan, of Mumbles, was runner-up – neither knew each other were competing and simply bumped into each other on the day.

The girls underwent a strict 12-16 week period of dedicated training and a very strict diet ahead of competing in the Welsh round. Both are now through to the British finals on 1 June in Southport.
