FIGHT fans are in for a treat when a no-holds-barred big-name wrestling match comes to Pwllheli.

Barnstorming American ring star Harlem Bravado caused a major upset when winning the Superslam Championship earlier in the year and will be heading for Pwllheli to face another international globetrotter, Mexican luchador Flying Eagle, in a big bill from All Star Wrestling at the Town Hall (Neuadd Dwyfor) on Wednesday, 12 April.

Hailing from Draper, North Carolina, Bravado has wrestled all over the world including in China; for Noah Pro-Wrestling in Japan; and was a regular for Ring of Honor in his home country and also recently debuted for TNA after originally making his name on the tag scene partnering elder brother Lance Bravado.

He won Britain’s most prestigious title by defeating Merseyside-based Dean Allmark at New Brighton in January and triumphed again in a return contest at Hanley, Stoke on Trent, before joining the legendary ‘Vampire Warrior’ Gangrel for a series of February tag team contests.

Now on his own again, Bravado will still need all his experience and guile to fend-off the much travelled Flying Eagle who puts the emphasis on spectacular aerial action, while in a further solo clash Dean Allmark gives away weight against metal masked monster Thunder, now back in the ring after a spell on the sidelines through a serious knee injury.

The programme, starting at 6pm also brings top tag team action with favourites James Mason and Oliver Grey joining forces against the notorious Henchman, Jim Diehard and partner Benton Destruction who come from the Midlands and have been enjoying an impressive recent run of success.
