A Penrhyndeudraeth man who obstructed a train at Porthmadog Railway Station has been handed an alcohol ban for 120 days.

Jamie Jones, of 3 Cilgwyn Flats, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 28 November.

The court heard that the 40-year-old obstructed the railway in Porthmadog on 9 July.

Jones also pleaded guilty to a threatening behaviour charge.

He was given the alcohol ban and rehabilitation requirements and must pay £800 in compensation.
