Aberystwyth’s war memorial is illuminated once more after the lighting system around the castle was fixed.

Other work to repair bridges and pathways around Aberystwyth Castle are expected to be completed throughout the year.

Ceredigion County Council said: “The council completed works to light up the memorial recently. This was done in advance of other works that are to be done around the castle between now and Christmas.”
