Abersoch lifeboat crew has been called out to assist person in the water.
They were paged at 5.20pm on 14 September following reports of a possible windsurfer in the water.
The lifeboat launched at 5.29pm and headed towards St Tudwal’s islands.
After completing a search of Abersoch bay no casualty was found.
The search was extended towards Pwllheli and the casualty located on a paddleboard. They said no assistance was required.
The crew returned to the lifeboat station at 6.23pm.
