Aberdyfi Pantomime has been recognised by the Amateur Theatre National and Operatic Dramatic Association (NODA) and has won two awards for their 2018 production of Aladdin.

Aberdyfi Players directors Su Tacey and Des George were photographed outside the Neuadd Dyfi earlier this year (right) with the two awards for Best Pantomime overall in their District in Wales and Best Stage Management and Special Effects.

“We are thrilled to receive these awards on behalf of Aberdyfi Players," said Su Tacey.

“We all have great fun producing our pantomime every year and put in a lot of effort to do the best we possibly can. Above all we want our audiences to enjoy the performances as much as we do, and, as an amateur group, it is great to be recognised with these two awards.”

“Rehearsals have already started for our 2020 pantomime Hansel and Gretel and tickets will be on sale from mid December for the performances on 1 and 2 February and 7 and 8 February.”
