A SCHOOLGIRL was airlifted to hospital on Monday afternoon after falling out a moving bus in Tywyn.
Emergency services were called at 3.53pm on Tuesday afternoon following reports of a child falling from an emergency escape door of a bus on Pier Road, Tywyn.
Officers from North Wales Police attended and a seven-year-old girl was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with serious injuries.
Her injuries, thankfully are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Wales Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at approximately 4pm yesterday, to an incident in Tywyn. We responded with a Community First Responder vehicle, an emergency ambulance and an air ambulance, one patient was conveyed by air to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor.”
Police enquiries are now underway and we would appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the incident and who are yet to come forward, to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number X030347.
