A Porthdinllaen RNLI stalwart has called it a day after more than 50 years of loyal service.
Rosemary Wynne Finch from Tudweiliog has retired after 53 years on the committee.
Mrs Wynne Finch first joined the committee of the Porthdinllaen RNLI branch back in 1966.
Over the years she has passionately raised funds and attended events for the charity.
Having decided that the time is right to ease back on her workload, she is now keen to spend more time with her family.
At a recent meeting, Mrs Wynne Finch was presented with a framed certificate and vase for her loyal service to the RNLI.
Her fellow committee members presented her with a large bouquet of flowers.
Kenneth Fitzpatrick, lifeboat operations manager at Porthdinllaen, said: “Volunteers like Mrs Wynne Finch are the lifeblood of the RNLI, our unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to raise funds and the profile of the RNLI.
“Her commitment has been inspirational and we wish her well for the future.”
