POLICE have discovered over 30 mature cannabis plants growing in the wild in a rural part of Ceredigion.

Officers from Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team and local Aberystwyth officers discovered 35 plants in total in a very remote location in the Llanrhystud area on Thursday, 23 July.

Posting pictures of the haul on social media, officers said: “If the owners would like to collect, please contact us! We would be happy to discuss it with you.”
