A flood warning has been issued by Natural Resources Wales for high tides at Borth and the River Leri at Borth.

This comes as Storm Barra hits parts of Wales. Wave overtopping can be expected at Borth sea front between 21:15pm and 23:45pm. The properties closest to the sea front are most at risk.

River levels are also expected to rise over the high tide period this evening and flood defences are now in operation. Overtopping or breaches of these defences may cause flooding to properties at risk in Borth, Glanlerry Caravan Park and Animalarium, and also the area from Ynyslas to Brynowen and low lying land and properties between the sea defences.

If you are worried or experiencing flooding, call Floodline on 0345 988 1188 using quickdial code: 603035.
