MEMBERS of the South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team have thanked a local farmer for assisting them during a recent call out.
The team was called out on Monday, 1 March, after receiving a report of a lady who was late arriving home from a walk.
A spokesperson for the team said: "[We had] a call out to search for a lady after she was late arriving home. She was on a walk from Cwm Bychan up Rhinog Fawr and had become misplaced on route.
“Teams were sent up the Roman steps from Cwm Bychan and from the Trawsfynydd side near Bwlch Drws Ardudwy. Luckily a call came from a local farmer in Cwm Nantcol that she had turned up there; she was then reunited with her husband and the team would like to thank the farmer for his assistance.”
South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team is a charity run by volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
