THESE dramatic photos show the moment a car fire raged in the bus stop of a north Ceredigion village on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Monday afternoon after it is believed a Mercedes caught fire whilst travelling along the A487 in Blaenplwyf.

Fire crews managed to get the blaze under control but severe damage was caused the vehicle.

There were no injuries

Dyfed Powys Police confirmed: “Dyfed-Powys Police were called at 3.35pm on Monday, 1 June, to a report of a car fire on the A487 just outside Blaenplwyf, Ceredigion.

“No injuries reported, the fire was put out by the Fire Brigade."
