POLICE have this afternoon confirmed that a body has been found in Aberystwyth harbour.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police told the Cambrian News: "I can confirm the body of a man has been recovered from the harbour in Aberystwyth.

"We have no further details to share at the moment."

It is believed the body was discovered earlier on Thursday.
