A Penparcau man has appeared in court accused of encouraging an Aberystwyth assault and filming it.
John Freestone, of 5 Heol Isaf, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 10 April.
The 20-year-old is charged with intentionally encouraging or assisting in the commission of an assault in Aberystwyth on 16 February.
Freestone is next due to appear at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing later this month.
He was remanded on conditional bail until that date.
